What an Elixir Day is — and isn’t.
It is
- A point-of-care measurement, run and explained in the room while you wait.
- The same analyser as every clinic listed on this page, so a number means the same thing wherever you had it done.
- A printed result that belongs to you, read by a GMC-registered clinician.
It isn’t
- Not a diagnosis — a single measurement on a single day cannot be one.
- A laboratory. This is measured at the venue, never sent away; where a lab is the right answer, we say so.
- A clinic or a pharmacy. Elixir is neither, and nothing measured on the day decides anything we send you.
